This requirement is for water treatment maintenance services and materials for all boilers, chillers, cooling towers, closed loop heating and cooling systems at the Phoenix Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Phoenix VA Health Care System, Carl T. Hayden Medical Center located at 650 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85012 requires maintenance services for water treatment of approximately 75,000 gallons chilled loop system that covers about 900,000 square feet. The required services are to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, chemicals and other items and services necessary to provide water treatment services and materials for all boilers, chillers, cooling towers and closed loop heating and cooling system.

This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. No sub-contracting opportunity is anticipated.
