This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE for
Arjo Patient Lifts Service

This acquisition implements a 100% set aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs).

The NAICS Code is 811219; size standard is $22.0 million.

Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name  b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code  (g) Tax ID Number (h) and must  provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor and provide the commodities described within the Request For Quotation.  
The Government intends to award one five-year contract for Arjo Patient Lifts Service (base year plus 4 option years).

The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. Requests for information and resultant responses shall be submitted directly to the contracting officer, Paul Speedling at Paul.Speedling@va.gov. REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

SERVICE CONTRACT:
Full-Service contract for the period of 9/15/2020 through 9/15/2025 for the following government owned equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
A. Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools materials, repair service, software updates, parts, etc., for complete On-Site Maintenance Service as specified below in accordance with the terms, conditions and schedule of this agreement.
B. Contract Extension: The Government will have the Option to extend the Term of the contract for Four (4) additional years at the prices you bid. This is in accordance with the provision of FAR 52.217-9 in Section C Contract Clauses of this Solicitation.
C. All patient lift service coverage will include:

One(1) ANNUAL Preventative Maintenance form for each patient lift when work is done per the alert (every PM and certain repairs).
Unlimited Service Calls during normal business hours (8am – 4:30pm weekdays).
Test and calibration of all scales if necessary.
All Labor, Travel, and Parts included.
Includes Load testing of each lift.
