The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Vocational Training Automotive Program for the Federal Correctional Institution (hereinafter referred to as FCI) located in Bennettsville, South Carolina.  The Contractor will make available, on a nondiscriminatory basis, two separate cycles (360 hours/cycle each) of vocational training in Automotive Chassis (Brakes, Steering and Suspension, and Passenger Comfort) per 12 month period, also one cycle (720 hours/cycle each) of vocational training in Automotive Power Train (Engine Repair, Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Manual and Automatic Transmissions) per 12 month period for a total of 1440 hours per year in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. 

The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal.  

Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Research Questionnaire will be available on or about April 1, 2021, and will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's Beta.Sam website.  The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site.

Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market research questionnaire survey is Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time (CT).
